IELTS Essay General Examples

IELTS Essay General ExamplesIELTS Essay General Examples are designed to allow students to get a taste of writing an essay on a specific topic and to familiarize themselves with the format and style. Although they do not pertain to any real life situations, they can be used in place of the real thing. This will help prepare students for the real thing.Papers such as these are typically filled out with vocabulary and themes from literature. Typically this is a topic that is not commonly covered. Therefore, while many may assume that this would mean there is no real benefit to knowing this, I think it actually is a benefit. The general essay samples provide students with the capability to think outside of the box.The format and content of the essay general samples provide students with a chance to learn different styles of writing. Some may think this is superfluous but I personally believe that the structure of the essays is essential. It allows students to think critically and form s olid opinions based on their analysis of the piece. There are three formats that are used in IELTS essay general samples. They are considered 'Absolute', 'Advisers'Professional'. This allows students to learn about the format based on the purpose of the essay.Absolute Essay Examples are examples of the 'I am so mad at' format. Students can be informed about what is considered to be 'so mad' or an absolute opinion. In this style of example, students are able to see a list of things that they should dislike or disagree with. They then have to critique these topics using facts and logic. Students should also be able to set forth and use valid arguments against the things they dislike.Advisers Examples is great for students who are not sure what type of essay to write or how to structure a simple essay. I usually use these essays in place of the absolute style because they allow students to learn how to formulate their own opinion and in so doing, to further solidify it through the use o f argument. Students can then be more prepared when they write their own essay. The most common type of essay used in IELTS essay general samples is the 'Professional' essay. In this style, students will read the statements and then write down reasons as to why they dislike them. They should demonstrate how the statement was made incorrect by pointing out the mistake. Students should also provide sources and evidence to support their points. While these samples are not the actual material that you will be provided with, they will give you an idea of the format that IELTS will require for your essay. The common topics discussed in these samples include national politics, animals, culture, religion, and employment. This is only a sampling of the topics that you will learn about during your preparation for the exam.
